A brand new three act Irish comedy ‘ It’s the Real McCoy’ is being performed in our neighbouring Kilmaine village at the Community Centre on Friday 20th April. It starts at 8pm and is guaranteed to have you in stitches!. Written & directed by Tommy Marren of Midwest Radio, the tickets are €15.00. The play is set in rural Ireland in the mid sixties and its main character is Madge Mulloy (Eileen Slevin) who has spent more than 40 years of her life in despair following the disappearance of her husband for no apparent reason.

adies Circuit Classes @ Kilcoona Community Centre, Headford are commencing their next set of classes from Tuesday 3rd and Thursday 5th April 2012. The classes will run for 6 week and cost €35.00.
There is also a Pay As You Go option at €7.00 per class or attend 2 classes per week for €12.00

The Parents Association of Cloughanover National School are holding a Quiz Night on Friday 23rd March 2012.
The venue is Campbell’s Tavern and table registration is at 8.30pm with the Quiz kicking off at 9am.
This years St Patrick’s Day Parade begins at 12.45pm from Headford GAA grounds and finishes at the traffic lights at the top of the main street. There will also be a Farmers Market and some live music in the Square before & after the parade. The Grand Marshall this year is An Séan Chairde who are celebrating their 10th Anniversary.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the craic agus ceol and here’s hoping the weather is good to us this year.
The Headford Wellbeing Centre are running their Spring Classes beginning 12th March 12 for 8 weeks until the 30th April 12. Classes include Pilates, Vinyasa Flow (both beginners & Intermediate) & Hot Yoga as well as others.

Cloughanover National School, Headford will be celebrating world book day tomorrow 2nd March 2012 with a visit from the children’s author Patricia Forde (http://www.patriciaforde.com/).

Headford District Association are holding their annual fundraising Concert on Friday 17th February in St. Fursa’s Hall from 8.30pm.
A wonderful line of local gifted musicians, singers &comedians, both young and old will perform on the night. They include Matt Keane, The Berrill Family, The Stratz, Noelie Mc Donnell, Fionnuala Deacy, Eamon Quinn & The Campbell’s Session Boys ,Shane Cunningham and Winifred Joyce.
Tickets €10 are on sale at local outlets in Headford or at the door on the night.

Garrymore Drama are staging their latest play “The Cripple of Inishmaan” in Headford Hall on Tuesday 7th February at 8.30pm. This is a dark comedy which is set in the Aran Islands and written by Martin McDonagh. A good night is assured.
Due to popular demand the Ladies circuit exercise class in Kilcoona Community Centre, which runs on Tuesdays at 8pm will also run on Thursdays at 8pm.
