Local Action Committee Formed Against Mast

Headford residents are united in their support for the relocation of the mast proposed for High Street. Following on from the well attended meeting that took place in The Anglers Rest Hotel on Wednesday September 1st an Action Committee has now formed.

The aim of the group will be to oversee the collection of information to form the core of the submissions to the Planning Dept. at Galway County Council. The time frame involved was highlighted at the meeting with submissions to be made before 4pm on 22/9/10. Ref 101203

Six local representitives addressed the crowd and promised their opposition to the development on the ground of proximity to a developed residential area.
