Public Meeting about proposed Vodafone Mast

A planning application has been submitted for a Vodafone mast on the main street in Headford, residents are totally opposed to the proposed location. The location is too close to a residential area. Vodafone Ireland Ltd is applying for the planning permission between O’ Connors and Creavens at High Street (where the Dutch Flower Room used to be)

The development will consist of an 18m multi – user monopole to carry 9 no. antennaes and 6 no. link dishes together with associated equipment cabinets and fencing to from part of their 3G broadband telecommunications network.

There is a public meeting to be held in the Angler Rest Hotel on Wednesday September 1st @ 9pm.

Public Representitives have been invited and residents are urged to attend.
